Dr. Henry Barbee is a family medicine physician at Graybill Medical Group’s Escondido office. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biopsychology from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her family practice residency at Glendale Adventist Family Practice Residency Program, training across pediatrics, geriatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and inpatient and outpatient medicine. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Henry Barbee most recently served as Medical Director of her own primary care practice, Barbee Primary Care, in Arizona, where she was recognized among Phoenix magazine’s top doctors for multiple years. Her procedural expertise includes joint injections, minor skin procedures, and Pap smears, with a particular clinical interest in geriatrics. With over 25 years in practice, she genuinely enjoys talking with patients and building long-term relationships, finding that caring for multiple members of the same family gives her deeper insight into their dynamics and allows for more thoughtful, personalized care. She loves the variety that walks through the door every day and is drawn to the challenge of diagnosis, approaching each patient with both clinical skill and genuine connection.
