Dr. Penunuri is a family medicine physician at Graybill Medical Group in San Marcos. She earned bachelor’s degrees in animal physiology and neuroscience, and in psychology, from the University of California, San Diego, before completing her medical degree at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico. She went on to complete additional training through the New York Medical College Fifth Pathway Program and her family medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Family Medicine Residency Program, where she served as chief resident. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Penunuri focuses her practice on women’s health, preventive care, and diabetes management. Her procedural expertise includes IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, colposcopy, joint injections, acne treatment, and skin lesion treatment.
