Dr. Borecky is a family medicine physician at Graybill Medical Group in Escondido, where he has practiced since 1990 and previously served as President of the organization from 1998 to 2008. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Loma Linda University, Riverside, and his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at Hinsdale Family Practice Residency in Hinsdale, Illinois. Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Borecky is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and focuses on treating and even reversing common conditions such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol through healthy diet, exercise, and weight management. His in-office procedures include infant circumcisions, skin biopsies, and skin excisions. With over three decades in practice, he enjoys being a specialist of the whole person rather than one particular organ, advocating for his patients and helping them navigate the often convoluted maze of modern medicine, and partnering with them in their care rather than dictating what they must do.
