Dr. Winton is a family medicine physician with added qualifications in sports medicine, based at Graybill Medical Group’s Fallbrook office, where he has practiced since 2002 and serves as lead physician. He received a bachelor’s degree in integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley, before earning his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at Northridge Hospital and went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. Board certified by the American Board of Family Practice with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine, Dr. Winton specializes in primary care sports medicine and performs procedures including skin biopsies, excisions, and joint injections. With 24 years in practice, he is especially motivated by working with patients who take an active role in their own health and, like the athletes he treats, are focused on getting back in the game.
