Dr. Paz is a family medicine physician at Graybill Medical Group in Escondido, where he has practiced since 1992 and previously served as President of Graybill Medical Group and Chairman of the Department of Family Medicine at Palomar Medical Center. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, and a master’s degree in public health from the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his family medicine residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Medical Center. A fellow and lifetime member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Paz began his medical career with the U.S. Public Health Service’s Navajo Area Indian Health Service, where he served as Chief of Staff, before going on to lead clinics in adult and pediatric care, prenatal care, and family planning. With 44 years in practice, he is dedicated to applying the principles of family medicine to help build strong communities, providing personalized care to his patients and their extended families as a whole.
