Dr. Brummel is an orthopedic surgeon at Graybill Medical Group, specializing in minimally invasive treatment of the shoulder, knee, and hip. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University, Fullerton, and a master’s degree in public health from San Diego State University, before completing his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center and a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Hughston Clinic. Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Brummel offers advanced arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, knee, and hip, along with shoulder, knee, and hip replacement when appropriate. His procedural expertise spans fracture care, ultrasound-guided injections, and Tenex procedures for tendinitis. With 13 years in practice, he is drawn to the hands-on problem-solving orthopedics offers and finds it deeply rewarding to guide patients from a challenging injury or diagnosis through treatment and recovery to a meaningful improvement in their quality of life. He believes strongly in educating patients about their condition and treatment options so they can actively participate in their own care.
