That’s why we offer ongoing classes and events on topics of interest to many of our patients. These include: weight management, diabetes management, and Medicare insurance basics. Weigh To Go! Weight Management Support (Note: due to COVID-19 concerns this class is postponed until further notice)

Weigh To Go! is a lifestyle modification program is designed to help you achieve and maintain your health and fitness goals through simple lifestyle changes. Facilitated by a Certified Nutritionist trained in weight management and a Certified Fitness Trainer, the program focuses on proper nutrition, emotional eating and gentle exercise and and is designed as an adjunct to your health care.

Classes are held every Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Building 1 lobby of our Escondido 2nd Avenue Office. Please check our Events Calendar for specific dates.

Living with Diabetes: Knowledge is Power (Note: due to COVID-19 concerns this class is postponed until further notice)

If you, a friend or family member have been diagnosed with diabetes, then you know the importance of making sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes. In these free classes, presented by Certified Diabetes Educators, you’ll learn practical ways to

  • Plan your meals and get the nutrition you need
  • Manage medications
  • Reduce the risk of disease complications
  • Administer basic self care

Classes are held on Friday mornings at various Graybill locations, and taught in English and Spanish, and on Wednesday evenings in our Graybill 2nd Avenue Office. Check our events calendar for specific languages, dates, times and locations.

Medicare 101

Did you know that Medicare costs and coverage change every year? Whether you’re about to turn 65 or already a Medicare recipient, it’s important to keep up to date on your coverage options. Our Medicare 101 seminars are designed to help you understand how Medicare works. The better informed you are, the better you can decide which options are most suited to your personal needs and budget.
