Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine that focuses on the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the GI tract.
Gastroenterologists are highly specialized physicians who are focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the GI tract. Gastroenterologists are trained to address conditions such as:
- Celiac Disease
- Crohn’s Disease
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Ulcerative Colitis
and other conditions.
Graybill Medical Group is proud to offer the services of Dr. Mark L. Kadden, a board certified Gastroenterologist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Kadden specializes in General Gastroenterology and Hepatology (which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree and pancreas). He is able to perform endoscopic procedures including
Dr. Kadden received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his medical residency in 1987 and Gastroenterology Fellowship in 1989 at the University of California San Diego. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and San Diego County Medical Society.
For digestive and gastrointestinal concerns, ask your primary care physician about a referral to Dr. Kadden. Appointments are available 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., depending on the Dr. Kadden’s surgical schedule.
General business hours: the Gastroenterology Department is open on Monday, Wendesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and on Tuesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
