Dr. Yara Matta is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. As a primary care physician, she is able to treat all family members. With her additional training as a combined Internist/Pediatrician, Dr. Matta also has the depth of knowledge to treat complex medical issues in patients ranging from newborns to geriatric patients.
Dr. Matta enjoys working with families through each milestone: newborn visits, yearly well child and adolescent checks, sports physicals, well woman exams, family planning, and acute visits. She strives to achieve optimal wellness and whole person care with her patients and their families.
Dr. Matta received her undergraduate degree in Biology from San Diego State University in 2009. She attained her medical degree from Wayne State University Medical School (Detroit) in 2014. She completed her combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Loma Linda University Health in 2018 and was chief resident there from 2017 to 2018. She joined Graybill Medical Group in 2018.
Dr. Matta is a member of the California Medical Association, the National Med-Peds Residents’ Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association. In addition to English, she also speaks Arabic (fluent), French (basic) and Spanish (basic).
