John Scrivano is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine and a Certified Diabetes Educator. As a Physician Assistant, he is able provide the full range of primary care to patient of all ages, including diagnosing and treating common conditions, educating patients on leading a healthy lifestyle and other preventive measures, and assessing health issues and directing patients to specialist care.
Mr. Scrivano earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College School of Health Sciences (Dix Hills, NY) in 1997, where he graduated magna cum laude. He obtained a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from the University of Nebraska in 2000, and in 2012 became a Certified Diabetes Educator. Prior to entering the medical profession, he was a member of the United States Air Force, where he was awarded the Commendation Medal for Outstanding Professionalism and Leadership and the Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service and Exemplary Career Performance.
Mr. Scrivano is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, American Diabetes Association, and a lifetime member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
