Dr. Frank Winton, M.D.

A native of California, Dr. Winton specializes in sports medicine and has cared for patients of all levels and ages, as well as seeing patients in Family Practice. Board-certified in Family Practice, Dr. Winton graduated from Baylor College medicine in Houston Texas and completed his residency at Northridge Hospital where he earned the Outstanding Resident Award. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Winton feels that the doctor-patient relationship is much like that of a coach and player who work together to help the whole team succeed. He is proud of his working class blue collar upbringing and the fact that he is the first in his family to attend college.

Dr. Winton is married and enjoys weightlifting, water skiing, snowboarding and is a fan of college and professional football and basketball.
