Dr. Rex M. Wheeler, M.D.

Dr. Rex Wheeler enjoys urgent care medicine where a wide variety of patients and problems are seen in a rapidly moving acute care setting.

Dr. Wheeler graduated from Michigan State College of Human Medicine and then completed an internship with a focus on surgery and emergency medicine at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Torrance California. Dr. Wheeler's focus is on emergency medicine.

He and his wife live in Carlsbad. Dr. Wheeler speaks Spanish and has been our extended hours doctor since 1994. His hobbies include sailing, surfing and guitar.
