Do you provide Immediate, Same Day Care or After Hour Care?
Yes! For same day appointments please call 866-228-2236. Urgent Care/After Hours/Walk-In locations are: Escondido, Oceanside, Carlsbad and Vista.
Are fees charged for missed Appointments?
Our physicians want to be available for your needs. Unfortunately when a patient doesn’t show for their scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen. So if you aren’t able to make your appointment, please call us before 5:00PM on the business day prior to your appointment. Otherwise a fee of $25.00 will be billed. The policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care.
Are copays and other charges due at time of service?
Copayment is expected at the time of service. Services provided which are not a covered benefit of your health plan will be your financial responsibility.
How do I get my prescription refilled?
If you need a prescription refilled please plan ahead. Call your pharmacy to request a refill three working days in advance. If you already have refills authorized, the pharmacist will be able to fill your prescription quickly. If you do not have refills then the pharmacist will notify our office. It will take three working days to complete the authorization for your prescription and inform the pharmacy. Mail order prescriptions will also need 3 working days to complete.
When will I know my test results?
Needing a medical question or laboratory/radiology test result? Our office phone operators are more than happy to route your call to the appropriate person or department or take a message. The highest volume of calls is received on Monday. If possible we would greatly appreciate avoiding calling on a Monday. Because our medical staff is attending to patients, they may not be available to answer phone calls. Our policy regarding phone calls is as follows: a call left for our nurse will be returned within 24 hours depending on the urgency of the call. Phone calls regarding laboratory or x-ray results will be returned within 24 hours. To reach the nurse please call the main number then press 'zero' for the operator.
